First of all, since im new here id like to take the time to say hi to everybody! I'm a huge fan of the warcraft and battlelore aspect of fantasy flight games but since last week ive really been hooked on the call of cthulhu living card game.Anyways...here's my question.

My question is regarding card # 54 of the base set: Sword of Y'ha-talllo. How exactly does this cards cost work? The card seems to cost 0, but next to its name are 2 steadfast icons, meaning it requires 2 chutulhu resources. But how can the card require 2 resources if its cost is 0?

The two icons next to the name simply mean that to play it, you need that many of that type of resource attached in any configuration to any of your domains.

To be more clear, in this case, you have to have a total of at least two Cthulhu resource anywhere across all of your domains. So, for example, if you were to start the game by placing one Cthulhu resource on two of your starting domains, and then any other resource on the third (including a Cthulhu resource) you'd be able to play the Sword for 0 cost.
