Hi there, just wanted to let everyone know that there are 20 new faces on traditional character cards, as well as 7 pirates and 14 commandable ships in a pair of unusual home-made expansions for Talisman. All are available at Talismanisland.com

The 20 "New" Faces are in addition to the Mystic, Blacksmith, Black Knight and other "Familiar Faces" from the previous expansion. We've been playing with them as if they were printed with the game, and we've been having a blast for months. The pirates are an acquired taste, but can be fun if you've got less time than is required for a traditional game. You can try playing both traditional and pirate characters at the same time, but the dungeon can make it an odd mix, since you can hide from the massive pirate ships whilst in its environs.

Group favorites are the Temporal Witch, Mouse Knight, and the Filcher (who breaks every rule and the fourth wall...). Players with a keen eye will also notice similarities to some other fantastic characters as well as the award-winning (woot!) Knight of Day.

I hope you enjoy playing them as much as I enjoyed creating them. And let me know how your experiences go with these "New" Faces!
