Is it the attack threads designed with vague titles to draw attention that also have no explanation of whatever the creator feels justifies the excessive punctuation? Because I think that is a problem on the main forum as well.

But seriously, why don't you tell us what is happening?

Rapture: Go to one of the subforums above. Open it. You'll see what is happening. My explanation - It looks like a bunch of asian text bombs have gone off. Many many pages of them. I can't explain it any better than that as I have no idea exactly what it is.

Happened last month as well. Seems like some people have waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much free time.

Spam bot attacks. Some how an automated program has been able to post up a fake account and post spam. It happens to allot of forums. Usually the catchapa phrase stops but these hacks get more and more complex.

It is not just the X-wing subforums. Been going through other message boards on the FFG sight. Some have only a few threads, some are completely washed out just like the subforums. Some are untouched which is good. I've counted at least 6 different usernames with these spam threads.

reminds me of the days of yore when I worked for blizzard where once a week I had to spend hours in the capital cities despawning level 1 corpses that had been arranged to spell out a gold selling website. still that's probably the most productive thing I would have been doing with my time.
