Looking at this old card I've never really used before. Noticed the wording on it.
R commit : After your attack deals damage, add that attack to your hand. Your combat phase ends.
My question. Is there still a response window for my opponent to play a reversal or does that step disappear as soon as V E takes effect?

It forces your combat phase to end immediately aborting your opponents window to play a reversal.
