I think Laetin is someone you put in when the rest of your squad is weak to swarms and you want to shore it up. I could see a Mangler (or HLC) Laetin doing serious damage against a bunch of 2-attack ships because hitting him would be an exercise in futility. Now, Scum don't have a Decimator, but I could see maybe slotting him with 3 Warthogs as a back ranker or flanker who can handle more than his share of points of a TIE swarm that munches on the Hogs.

Cannons are a treat, but I don't think Laetin on his own will handle the likes of Soontir screaming into the squadron

the question then becomes "what?" Maybe feedback mini-swarm instead of the hogs
