Thought I would see what a little paint could do to punch these up a little.
Did not take long and added allot to the models IMO.

What did you do for the TIEs? Did you base coat them grey and then add the black? They seem lighter than the bare models. Or is that just a trick of the light now that they've got black added to the wings?

Very nice. You're all making me feel lazy, so I might have to have a go myself!

I just painted a lighter grey on to the Ties (Vallejo "Cold Grey") in selected areas and left the original dark grey as a base/shade.
Then I colored in the panels black and bobs yer uncle.

I put allot less time into the x-WIngs.
