since ion grenades effect droids, should the not also effect cyborgs? how about computer systems? the 2 instances of ions in the movies were the jawas popping r2 and the rebels on hoth popping a star destroyer. in the x-wing video computer games, ions were used frequently to disrupt ship systems. in the clone wars animated series, the massive ion weapon shorted out droids, ships, and all sorts of electronics.
the reason i ask is because my gm says, "the book only says droids" but cyborgs have the same complex electronics droids do, as do ships. i once wanted to use an ion grenade to disrupt a ships cockpit systems, but he disallowed it. i also used an ion grenade against the cyber-nexu in the beyond the rim campaign, but he was hesitant to agree.
so... thoughts?
