What do you guys thinks, is "Panick Attack" still viable after Wave 5 and Wave 6 hit the scene?

Panick Attack is:

Blue squad pilot + B-wing/E2 + Tactician x3

Gold squad pilot + Ion Turret + R3-A2

In 2014 it went to worlds and went good. But this year I don't see that list in tournaments. Are the B's not so popular or something changed in meta?

doesn't seem to be anything recently released that'll make it not viable, aside from Wave 6's new shininess forcing everyone to play the awesome new faction

S&V's awesome headhunters and BTL-A4 ICT Y-wings will be rough for the B-wings who enjoy neither lots of 2 dice attacks or ionization, but it remains to be seen if the later will catch on.

I won a 21 person Store Championship with it up in Olympia Washington, so yes, it's an incredibly viable list.

I won a store championship subbing Roark with an ion turret and nein nunb in place of the third b. Though with the phantom FAQ I'm heavily considering going back to 3 bs

Maybe with the decloak nerf it isn't as much of a necessity to fly the gold squadron, just straight 4 Taco Bells?

having access to easy stress (no range restriction) and ionization for that good ole stress + ion combo should imo merit the one Y-wing, phantom or no

Having the turret threatens any arc dodger enough that they keep their distance, usually enough to then line up shots on them with the B's. I also tend to use the Y-Wing as an aggressive blocking piece in the initial engagement.

I just love this list!

Won a local tournament with it yesterday. Got a 5 full wins, lost maximum 1 ship per match.
Our meta hadn't encountered full control list before, so no one knew how to handle so much stress stacked with a good firepower.

I was really lucky not to meet Howlrunner 7-TIE's swarm, as I had no idea how I could beat that.
And I see I still need some practise to fly it as Y-wing usually couldn't hold the line together with B-wings
