Couple questions.

By kujoe1988, in Star Wars: Armada

Ok I will keep this short. I have 2 question which I believe I know the answer but would love to here from you all.

1. At the star of the game do you put your speed dial face up? And then leav it face up for the whole game?

2. Can concentrate five be used on anti squad attack?

Thank you for the help?

Concentrate fire will increase the die pool on a single attack, doesn't matter who the target is. Keep in mind that while a ship can attack each squadron in a given firing arc, each one it attacks is a separate roll and counts as a single attack. You would only get the extra die against one squadron.

The game does not say, but to ensure no one is cheating, I would assume the speed dial is left face up. How else would you know if the player is moving their ship the correct number of joints on the tool? Remember a ship must move a number joints equal to its speed. You can't set your speed to 4 and then choose to move less.

follow up on Ship Anti-Star Fighter attacks.

It seems if you have LOS and within range, you can fire from 2 Arcs when a ship is targeting another ship

Could you ALSO have your ship fire from all four arcs, provided there are four separate squadrons in range and in each arc?

You choose two hull zones to attack from. Either you attack one ship, or all squadrons in arc of that zone.

Wait... you can attack MULTIPLE squadrons in a single arc?

You get 2 shots. Each time your choice of fire is 1 ship or all fighters in your arc of fire (and in range). Unless allowed via special rule, only 1 shot per hull zone.
