Well, I disappear for a while away on a Job........And the Painting Forum has been disbanded......disappointing ! ! !

I was so looking forward to seeing what you guys Have been up too and getting on with finishing my Scum Modifications.

We really do need the Sub painting Forum back.

it was very inspirational seeing all of the Mods and re-paints that so many of you were coming up with.

I'm now back home. working close to home and getting back behind my Desk to build some more Custom Models.

THANK YOU to all of you who have been dropping in messages.

I hope the Moderators will give us our sub forum back.........we need the paint and custom section in one place.

so that we can all be inspired by each other and continue to wonder at each others creations.

I have bought another Yt....and I'm thinking about modding that one as well.

Im finding it a lot of fun building for the scum factions.

You can really go wild with those guys if you want....and in some cases.

Add them to Rebal fleets as smugglers.

Lots of choices.

You Know, I have never been a fan of the Firespray.

However I have had a few games against them since, and I have a lot more respect for them now.

So although im not going to buy a firespray, I am going to Scratch build something very similar, and make it look as

aggressive as My YT Scum Ship.

it will follow similar proportions as the firespray, but festooned with weapons,ventral fins and aero stabilisers.

Im starting to bulk the body out now while finishing my Scum Y-wing bombers.

Its good to be back behind my desk,

Building more Scum, Rebel and Imperial ships.

I have been asked by a few guys now about building that Custom YT.

I may have to look into making a Mould and casting them In Resin.

I have made many moulds and castings with other models and scratchbuilds, just never Xwing !

Im going to look into it.
