Taking the first step into a larger world tomorrow and playing at a store event in St Louis. Never really played the game outside of a small local group and cannot decide what to fly. I am assuming that new phantom rules will not apply and lots of folks will be running two ship lists either with phantoms or designed to hunt phantoms. I just picked up a fourth B-wing in order to make a BBBB or BBBBZ list possible. I am a decent player but will occasionally forget an upgrade here or there (looking at you rebel captive) so a super simple list seems like a safe bet. So...
1. Advanced sensors, accuracy correctors, or a bandit? Sensors allow for modified shots after a K-turn and a bit more slipperiness with pre-move barrel rolls. AC lets you barrel roll all day or red maneuvers without worrying about modifying dice. A bandit provides some extra blocking and another attack but also sorta spots my opponent 12 points.
2. What specific strategies work best with a BBBB list? Have not found a lot of batreps or discussion on 4B lists. Probably because they are kind of a blunt instrument. Any subtleties to flying this list at all? Any obvious traps to avoid?
3. Would I have more fun flying my "clog dancing" squad?
