Those with game...Do any of the parts rub against each other?

By VaultDweller, in Star Wars: Armada

I'd like to spray coat any parts that come in contact with each other like the dials in X-Wing. Do the surfaces of any of the parts where there is printing like the shield markers on the ship bases, the command dials, or the squadron disks rub against something?

Thanks.

Armada is better than X-wing about this. The shield and order spinners are in plastic and have a tiny gap so there is little rubbage. The only ones like those in X-Wing are the speed markers and the fighter activation tabs. There be come scrapage on the fighter strength markers, but not where the numbers actually are.

If this is a problem, it is very easy to insert a thin nylon washer in between the disks. I did this for all of my X-Wing maneuver dials and it works great at reducing the wear on them.

I did the washer and coating for X-Wing. Took a while for over 100 dials. Hopefully the washers I already have will work here.
