Hey gang,
Can someone please verify that the squadron disks are printed with a standard fighter squadron, on one side, & the named characters (Luke/Howl Runner) on the other side.
Thanx!!

There is no difference between disks for named and unnamed squadrons, they have the exact same # of hull points, and that is all that is on the disk. You just need to attach a marker to the disk to identify it as a hero.
Yes, one side of the cardboard round is the hero face, the other side is the generic squadron, like X-wing they are double sided, you just turn them over.
So when you buy the fighter expansions you can field them as either a hero + a generic, or 2 generics.
For the core set you could have Howlrunner and 5 TIE Fighter squadrons, or 6 TIE Fighter squadrons
And Luke and 3 X-Wing squadrons, or 4 generic X-Wing squadrons.

Just saw the video that's been posted & it answered my query. This showed great forethought from FFG, & made me very happy as I ordered mutiple sets of the starfighter squadrons.

There is, the other side of the disk has a picture of Howlrunner printed on it and a picture of Luke for the Rebels. No need for a marker.
