I just bought all of Wave 1 and I've put everything into blinder sleeves. And it seems like there are 72 different cards in all. Does this sound right? Can anyone confirm?

Yes thats right 35 from the new packs and 37 from the core.
IA Command has a database listing all the cards. So you could check there if you want.
It's a great site in general, so worth checking out either way.
