The Upcoming products page has recently been updated, and the BSG Pegasus expansion has moved from "At the Printer" status to "On the Boat"! Does that mean we can expect the game in stores in two months? If so, best news I've seen all day!
BSG Pegasus "On the Boat"
That would be ridiculously awesome, though I thought the front page was saying not till Fall? I guess maybe September would be close enough? Here's hoping!
Wait, there's more! A new image popped up at Funagain!

This confirms Cain and Caprica-Six as characters! I think Cain's ability reads "When an "Admiral's Quarters" skill check is passed with a 10 or more, you may choose to execute that character instead of sending him to the "Brig"".

I think it does say that. Though, it'd be pretty terrible if people could be removed from the game. Also, it'd be funny if she got brigged by 10 or more, and opted to execute herself.

Maybe it would just force them to choose a new character if they were human?
I agree. BSG would not add player elimination after working very hard to ensure it doesn't happen in the base game. The player would probably either be revealed (Cylon) or draw a new character (Human). The human team would probably get some penalties (Morale?) in the latter case.
What if so many executions are performed that the human team runs out of characters?
I doubt you get a new character, because then you could execute people so that you could use the new character's once-per-game or something. Killing one character so that another character could enter the game wouldn't really fit the theme.
It does make sense that executing a cylon forces a reveal.
Maybe if you get executed you have to show your loyalty cards. If you have a cylon card, you get res'ed and don't get to use your cylon action. If you don't have a cylon card, maybe you lose your character card and become like a nerfed human, maybe?
Well we all have to wait until it will be REVEALED to us
.
I wonder for how many players this game will be whit the expansion? Is it going to be max 6 players game? When I play the game I have a feeling that there is room for one or two more players. What do you think? Whit revealed cylon players and humans and all the characters to choose from is it possible?
Sorry for my english...
Cheers
I think Azure has it right. When executed :
If Cylon, act just like you've revealed but you don't get your reveal ability. Maybe the humans gain a morale point since there needs to be some extra benefit to balance things out for the humans.
If Human, start a new character and the fleet loses some Morale.
Wow that picture is worth a thousand words. One instant other thing I notice: it confirms new skill cards for at least a couple of the colors, probably 1 new one for each color!
Wow I can't wait for this thing!

Corey has stated in an interview that the game will officially still be for just six players, but the extra components included in the expansion will make it easier to play with 7+ if you want to.

I'd say this is unlikely, simply because the Sympathiser mechanic got enough flak for being an "un-fun" role to play in the game. I doubt they would introduce another nerfed, un-fun role.
once per game ability for Cain seems to be Blind Jump (Action)

She also gets two leadership, something else, and then an either/or choice if I'm not mistaken.
Well, Cain is a Military Leader so she has to have Leadership and Tactics, but the third skill...The new skill will be treachery but I dont think taht she will have that skill
, but maybe politics.
Cheers
She may have treachery as a skill. The new preview states that there are penalties involved if ever a human player must discard treachery cards (my guess is that they get shuffled into the destiny deck). This could be Cain's drawback.
