Came across this ina game last night

Han shot-Used target lock, Still missed, THEN used Han's abillity, Still missed.. THEN used Gunner. is that allowed?

No, the rules clearly state that dice can only be rerolled once. Han's ability is essentially a free target lock. He cannot use his ability and target lock on the same attack.

As long as the player used Han's ability to reroll all the dice that weren't rerolled with the TL, then after comparing results, if it was still a miss, the gunner can be used as it's a separate attack. Which also means Han's ability could be used on that attack also if required.

Just to make sure: the Gunner can still used even if you use Han's ability or the Target Lock.

No, it can be both. It depends on how many dice you choose to reroll with the Target Lock. If you rolled <hit> <blank> <focus> and decided to use a target lock on the <blank> and it came up <blank> again, you can then use Han's ability, but you must reroll the <hit> and <focus>. You can't use it on the blank because of the reroll rule.

You can use both Han and a Target Lock, you just can't re-roll any single die more than once.

You could do the following:

• Roll 4 dice at range 1
• Hit Hit Blank Blank
• Use TL to re-roll both blanks
• Hit Hit Blank Blank
• Decide to use Han (re-roll all dice you can, so both hits) hoping to get blanks and trigger gunner
• Hit Focus Blank Blank
• Defender rolls 1+ Evades
• Gunner Triggers
• Roll 4 dice
• Hit Blank Focus Blank
• Use Han (re-roll all 4 dice)
• Hit Crit Hit Hit
• Defender rolls nothing but blanks
• Defender is destroyed

The odds of getting exactly 1 crit among those results is a little slimmer (2.6%).

It is possible, but very unlikely in practice, that you could use Han's Ability, a TL, and even another die re-rolling mechanism like Predator all in a single attack. None of those things would re-roll the same dice but all could be used to reroll a portion at a time.

When it comes to re-rolling Gunner and Luke just bring a new attack which allows completely new rolls.
