Im going to run this squad at regional if the Raider comes out in time.
Vader with swarm tactics, TieX1, ATC, and EU
Tempest with TieX1 and ATC
Vessery with HLC
I run Vader and the Tempest in formation and focus fire with TL and Vessery comes along and cleans up the leftovers. It was worked well so far.
What do you think?
Looks pretty good. I might put accuracy corrector on the tempest and use the point to give Vessery Adrenaline Rush or Calculation.
I'd probably put an Accuracy Corrector on the Tempest and use the extra point to switch Swarm Tactics out for Predator on Vader.
Even if your Tempest will never spend a Target Lock, there should probably be a round that he doesn't need a defensive action or a barrel-roll that he can pick up a TL for Vessery to mooch off of.

I'm just imagining that the way I'd tend to fly Vader with EU and Vessery with an HLC would rarely put them in range one of each other.
Swarm with ATC on the tempest allows for 6 red dice at ps9 with two crits. I tried AC on the tempest and it is good too. I have time to try some different ideas though since the Raleigh regional is not til June.
In agreement with the Tempest being excellent support module for Vessery. I think the new advanced title will definitely shake things up. You can even fit Vessery + Adrenaline Rush with 3 Tempests that have AC...if you drop down that one tempest for HLC and upgrade the other to Vader, like you have done in your list, I think it will still be somewhat successful.
I like Vader with ATC and the Tempest with AC...the Tempest can still get a TL on if Vader can't early on and after that just focus or evade for defense every turn because of the guaranteed 2 hits. I would consider dropping Swarm Tactics and use the point from dropping ATC on the Tempest to put in Predator or Outmaneuver, just because of the range restriction. I like Prockets on Advanceds, but with AC or ATC it's not that efficient.
