However Star Wars is Space Opera , which is a branch much closer to Fantasy, than Science Fiction.

And The Force, fighters flying like aircraft, sound in space, repulsorlifts in general, the Death Star, hyperspace, hypermatter (the fuel capital ships use) and lightsabers don't?
