My friends and I have a debate about action tokens. Say a ship as a stress token on it, the rules state that a ship can not perform an action while stressed.My freinds are saying that that ship receive a token such as a focus token and still spend that token because spending a token is not an action. I found on the inside the front page that is says "tokens mark ships that are performing actions." If i am ccorrect, then the token is the action an ship can't receive the token and spend it because the token represents the action be taken. And also the token is not just a genertion product of the action to be spent. Please help.

Wrong forum, but if the ship has the token before acquiring Stress , then the token may be spent normally.

Acquiring the token is (or rather, can be, there are non-Action ways of acquiring tokens) the Action. Spending the token is not an Action.
