Enter a space

By K3rmit, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

Hi,

for example in "Sympathy for the Rebellion" one part of the winning condition is to enter a specific space.

If a figure who wants to enter that space has exactly 2 movement points (without mobile or something like this) and the space is occupied by a hostile figure and entering that space will fullfill the winning condition, then the figure (or its fraction) win?

Maybe it will become clearer with this fictive example:

Rebells win, if someone retrieves the token and enter space A. After the activation of Rebell R the round is over and Imp wins. R has retrieved the token and now has exactly 2 movement points (and no actions or something else) left.

Here a "very small" Fizzgrid :)

If there is a figure, like a trooper, on A, who wins?

My problem is, that R is not allowed to end his movement at A.

The 4th bullet point.

Figures can move through other figures' spaces.

The definition of "moving through a space" is that the figure can enter the space as long as it does not end its movement in the space.

So in your example the Rebels would lose.

Ok, and if the Rebell R has 3 MP Rebells will win ok?

Correct. Enter the hostile figures space with 2mp and moving out for 1mp ending in a space with no other figures.

though in the fictive example the win is awarded by entering the space with the token not ending your movement on the space

if it's one of the missions where you have to leave the map being adjacent to the entrance/exit and spending a movement point is enough

Escaping

Certain mission rules can allow a figure to escape. In order to escape, the figure must spend one movement point while in or adjacent to the space indicated in the mission’s rules.
