That's my point. The reason more people are talking about it now is that the full length version was finally released and not the two minute version released before.
Now I want him to make a Rebels Strike Back. That would allow me to like this.
Same with the Armada Forums.
It's a good Fan-made film even if it is not even close to canon or how Ties really work in the Star Wars universe. (Seriously, when the Tie Bomber releases a bunch of missle that all find and destory Y-Wings and X-Wings I just about gave myself a black eye from the face-palm I did.)

The Macross Missile Massacre was one of the best things in it (aside from well, everything else). I was wondering what that would look like in Star Wars.
Jet turbines and *maybe* cluster munitions aside, it seems to pretty closely reflect canon (and above all the TIE Fighter game).

No Tie Fighter is going to take out 5-6 X-Wings in a dog fight. They rely heavily on numbers to win a dog fight and tend to take large casualties in the process. It hurts to watch in a way.
Agree. But that's why the Imperial Propaganda Department had to animate it. They couldn't find any footage of that kind of success from their cockpit cams!

All three links are the 7-min:38-sec version. I don't know of what 2 min version you were talking about, but I already seen this video in another post. Still a good video but this has been posted before.

The films are Rebel propaganda, so vids like this are just balancing it out.

Really the Rebels were severely out-gunned from the start. If you break down the numbers, there was over 150 Ties vs. maybe 3 X-wing squadrons and 2 Y-wing squadrons.
2 ISDs and a 418 would shred a handful of CR-90s and a single Nebulon B.

Imperial Academy graduates are flat-out better than most of the barely trained amateurs the Alliance relies on. Almost all of the Alliance's best pilots are also went to the Imperial Academy (Han Solo, Tycho Celchu, Hobbie, dunno if Biggs was a good pilot, and Dash never joined officially, but there you go). None of those pilots featured in this vid and the Rebel forces were grossly outnumbered, so...

(seriously though, the Imperial fans have almost taken over the Armada Forums and it is pretty bad here. Can't mention Rebels without having 5 others screaming their loyalty for the Empire. And yes I did watch the video, well done but not accuarate by Star Wars Canon.)
