Agreed. Do we know of any female interceptor pilots? All of the named pilots in X-wing are male, right?

IMO, CGI is a cop-out for animation. It has it's time and place. But I feel it's a lazy way to do things. With as quick as they can punch out CGI cartoons now, they lack artistic quality. But then again I grew up in the early 80s watching Japanimation.

Star Wars has long deserved the Japanese space opera treatment; it's a really good fit.

Instead we get Clone Wars/Rebels (though the original Clone Wars was awesome in its own way).

Pretty much how every space battle with SW Empire at War ends.

It's a stretch, but you could say Jaina Solo Fel. She co-commanded a Chiss Clawcraft (Chiss Defender/Squint) Squadron if Jag Fel (the Baron's son), and she did have a Tie Advanced. Can't think of any legit female Squint pilots though.

Oh wait, Lara Notsil/Gara Petothel/Kirney Slane flew them at one point, and the Wraiths flew them regularly.

Afraid there are none in X-wing atm.

The only complaint I have is the music is a little too "in your face" edgy. But I might just be partial to The John Williams score.

There's a good reason they didn't use William's amazing score: It gets a third party match that most of the time leads to the audio being muted. I've seen a shorter version of this that has Williams' score.

The shorter version uses KotOR.
