So I have spent a lot of time looking at all the spoilers for wave 2 as I'm sure many have. One thing really has me thinking is his natural block evade. However the more I look at it the more I feel like it is actually 2 blocks and 2 evades. I feel this is way too powerful however I want to know if I'm the only one that sees that?

Looks like a +1 on both to me. +2 would be as you say way too powerful.

If you look at Figure packs you're looking for article you can clearly see he has 1 black die for defense.

Yeah I could totally understand giving him one Black die with two blocks and one evade but the second evade(if I am right) just seems like overkill. Two surges are totally possible but 3 is just super unlikely for any die and not having surges to pierce through all those blocks the only units that could touch him would be Vader and Luke. Vader with his pure damage and Luke with Saber Strike

FWIW, it will likely be +2 Block and +1 Evade most of the time anyway. I don't envision many lists where you play him without Royal Guards... That with his Black Die for defense will make him pretty difficult to hurt without getting somewhat lucky.

The thing that makes me think it is different is that the Pierce 1 doesn't look like the same number as what is before the block and evade. And yeah I'm glad that they seem to be getting him right the first time around. Unlike the LCG and X-Wing

i think that ability says "when you declare an attack against a hostile target with the ( the weakened symbol) you gain the surge ability ( 2 different surges ) with the blast symbol and a strain. What number of damage and strain they are is a guess.
