I just posted my account of the three Store Championships we had in Quebec City this year over on the Team Covenant website.
It's a long read, but hopefully I included enough images to keep it interesting! ![]()

Nice reports! Even after making a mistake with the falcon, you managed top 4....then proceeded to do better with two new list and win the store championship!
Well done!
I'm sorry, but you said you won despite taking 14 points of ordinance? Don't you know that defies Internet Wisdom?
Very nice write-up! Goes to show that piloting still counts for a lot in this game.
Great reports! I really enjoyed reading them and seeing some of the lists that you used to get there. Congrats on your finishes!
I love how you used the YT-2400 as a blocker in the your final game of your third tourney. That was so cool.

To be honest, it was a bit of a fluke.
With the 3 bank, I was expecting to take heavy fire from the B-Wings - which would have happened, knowing (now) what maneuvers he had them set for.
But I was hoping to survive that round (I was still full health) and then run away, keeping them at range 3, which is to my advantage since I'm shooting with a secondary weapon.
It's only after I executed the maneuver that I saw it right there in front of me. A Barrel Roll fits. I can block everything. The Barrel Roll put me a couple millimeters from my Z-95. Had I planned on pulling the barrel roll to block, I would've moved the Z-95 first to make sure he wasn't in the way.
Edited by KlutzI want you to know that you are the reason I am taking three TIE defenders to our local tournament. Why be bogged down by always playing so-called top-tier lists? Time to go have some fun and see how much damage I can cause!

Sweeet! ![]()
That tourney, I think I only lost Rexler once. In the final against Mu0n. I spent his focus on offence, and then a shot from Echo took him from 1 shield and 3 hull to dead. ![]()
Thanks for the write up! I have a long, boring day at work and this helped fill the void. Very nice write up.
I like your Chiran0saurus Rex list. I just got my Decimator and haven't flown it yet. I like it well enough that I think I'll try it this Thursday game night. I've got 101 lists to try these days, but I really want to try this one. I think I'll like the Navigator on Decimator = Navimator? Decigator?

I really liked having a Navigator on the Decimator! It's almost like an extra re-positioning action, especially at the high PS Chiraneau activates at.
What surprised me was that in came in most useful going into the initial exchange. On three occasions, I switched a slow move to a fast move to get range 1 shots on Interceptors/Phantoms! I was expecting it to be useful after the initial exchange to keep Chiraneau alive and out of arcs.
Gotta say though, I didn't use Lone Wolf to its full potential at all. I always had Rexler too close to Chiraneau.
I might even try swapping out Rexler + Lone Wolf for one of these options:
But switching for Vessery screws up the squad's awesome name ![]()
Do you think it could work with Lone Wolf and you just play different? Or do you think it's better to change it? I think I might be tempted to go with the VI.
I know my friend just got Auto Thrusters and was eager to fly them. I'd love to run this list against him.

I'm sure Lone Wolf is a very viable upgrade, you just have to keep him away from Chiraneau.
The problem (I find) is that, especially with the popularity of 2 ship builds, it is important to concentrate fire a one enemy ship. Even if you have Rexler and Chiraneau converge on an enemy from different directions, they seem to inevitably end up close to each other. This might have to do with the Defender's dial. Unlike a TIE Interceptor, I find it hard to keep a Defender off to the side yet still pointed at the enemy.
Lone Wolf is nice if you ever lose Chiraneau though. It was a definite help in the game I lost against dual IG-88s.
Once Chiraneau went down, Lone Wolf was awesome and it helped Rexler take down one of the 2 Aggressors and save my MoV!
