Veteran Instincts, from which battle?

By CliffordHolm, in X-Wing

So the other day I was looking at my Veteran Instincts card and noticed a lot of blank space below the sentence "Increase your pilot skill value by 2." and thought I should write really small and record in there the tournaments I've been to. And my next thought was what you see in the photo. These are really just pieces of paper slipped behind the card while still inside the plastic protector. The images are cut and pastes from the event's announcement or with the Kessel Run just a photo from google and a font type that looked the closest to the Imdaar Alpha text.

So now my squad isn't just generic veteran, they're are a Veteran of the Kessel Run!

I like the idea of writing the tournaments better. Years back I wrote on my NES in gold pen the games with the dates that I beat them. By the end, I had covered 3 sides of the NES. Then the SNES came out and didn't have any flat surfaces on it =(

Cool idea, but I like your notion of putting it in the text box on the front better. Maybe still print the tourney name, but very small then cut it out & tack it on?

cool idea to put a little history behind that upgrade

unfortunately, my Luke would then only be the veteran of "**** phantoms"

Does getting blown up by Fat Han count for Vet Instincts?

You should try for something like the Imdaar Alpha promos!

To make it easier, just print out the whole Veteran Instincts card with the added text and slip it into the sleeve with the actual card.

Then you can bring it to an official tournament, and if any asks you to see/use the official card you can just slip it out of the sleeve! :)

Here's an option for ya! ;)

Edit: 2 options!

Klutz I like that a lot! Thank you very much!

Before I clicked on it, I was thinking that you had like a small icon of the event, and had several of them in the blank space, almost like each one was a badge. And I was thinking how could that would be. Not a big fan of just putting a picture of it in front of the card though.

But what Klutz did is awesome!
