Hey all. ,e and my brother have pretty much jumped head first into X-Wing; he's looking for a game that we can play that's simpler than 40k and feeds our collective love for Star Wars.

Anyways, I did a little bit of reading around, and would like some input on this list.

3x Academy Pilot

Howlrunner

Whisper with Advanced Shield Generator, Fire Control System, Gunner, Veteran Instincts

The total is 98 points.

I loved the idea of a ship that relies on maneuverability, and also enjoyed the thought of using the ship from one of my favorite older Star Wars games (behind Tie Fighter, of course).

Any advice? Tips that a newcomer might not pick up? Perhaps even scrap the phantom, or the ties? I have a decent selection at the.moment, and am open to ideas.

That's a pretty strong list (by 'advanced shield generator', I assume you mean advanced cloaking device).

My only suggestion is that you download TIE fighter sound effects on your phone so you can play them as you blow up your brother's ships

Ahh...the Sinister " 6 " . a fun list to fly! it will take alittle practice flying them and keeping track of 6 Pilot abilities LOL! ... but you'll have blast!
