I blame JJ "the Jet Plane" Abrams. He probably has all episode vii ships under some strong NDA (because mystery box) agreement with Disney, so ffg can't preview or announce the next wave.

If they're just adding the new stuff to X-wing via Wave rather than doing something fancy then it'd be Wave 8, not 7.

Monday isn't over yet...I don't even care what it is, as long as it's X-wing stuff.

I'm glad they're holding off on news. Gives us some time to play with wave 6 before it gets overshadowed by rampant speculation about newly announced ships that we wont get to play with for 6 months.

When they do drop news about wave 7 I hope they are a little more demure with their previews. Don't show us ALL of the cards too soon, just enough to get people excited at first.

From the sound of it, X-Wing's production schedule is pretty much a fixed thing, planned at least 18 months in advance. You're going to get Wave 7 whether you like it or not.

Also, while (some) people may not care for the way they announce and release product, FFG is going to be looking at their winning numbers and interpret that whatever they're doing, they're doing it right. For them, what matters is not your ultimate enjoyment of the product, but maintaining your addiction to it.

Having to keep up with new releases to maintain competitiveness with other players (which is not as bad as with some companies), will keep you coming and keep you needing to continually upgrade.

I am generally part of the "less frequent spoilers" crowd, but it has been since 2/19 as the last real article about X-Wing (Paul Heaver's Scum article). The available in stores/regionals locations don't really count.

Im still overjoyed with my scum and villany collection and thinking up lists to fly with them ...im alsi more interested in reading in what people are flying the most of in S&V and if they have won any games with S&V. Now if any news comes out on S&V im all for it till then ....nope dont care......
