We don't need X-Wing news - we've got Armada shipping and a bunch of new stuff for Imperial Assault!
Except neither of those games has anything to do with X-Wing. It would be a big mistake on FFG's part to assume people will flock to those games just because they're putting X-Wing on hiatus.

esp. Armada...way too expensive. It's probably gonna be a good game but it's too pricey and the games take 1-2 hours to complete.
we have a big ship coming and a new wave that should've been out in late spring if we hadn't had a major dock strike.

There's likely to be a new FAQ soon - since the star wars LCG FAQ and several other FAQs were updated - at least that's my guess, FFG has shown a pattern in having lots of FAQ's show up about the same time.

Or don't have the money to throw around. I've got Imperial Assault because it's like it was custom designed for me it fits what I like so much, but Armada... as good as it looks I simply can't afford it, even if I packed in X-wing.

I'm always a late commer when it comes to games. I don't jump on the latest thing to come off the bandwagon but I wait for a game like X-wing and armada to mature a bit. IA is a little strange because at the core it is Star Wars Descent but with all the villain and ally packs it is also a collectible table top game. Armada reminds me of 40K epic. Still since I am light on the take home income I will have to hold off on getting into these games until I see how it works.

Maybe, but they coudl release another Raider article today though, and save Wave 7 for next month.... or they could just be awesome and gimmie everything now.
I blame JJ "the Jet Plane" Abrams. He probably has all episode vii ships under some strong NDA (because mystery box) agreement with Disney, so ffg can't preview or announce the next wave.

If JJ Abrams' movie rocks, this is fully justified. If it sucks, then I'll blame him for a lot more than FFG's announcement schedule.

It is kind of a dirty trick that they used an image of an X-Wing for their Now Available post for the new Star Wars LCG expansion.
I just want more Raider info. It was previewed 3 months ago and since then nothing.

True, but if the movie is great, I won't care so much about the secrecy leading up to it. Maybe justified was the wrong word (though it's a great series - love Timothy Olyphant) but I guess I mean to say that I'll be much more forgiving. And if it sucks, I'll be much less forgiving.

So many news updates for EVERY other Star Wars game in just the past few days - multiples for most.
While X-Wing, their heavy hitter, remains dark.
I like to think they're all having a laugh at our frustration and tooth-gnashing. Each time a new thread calling for updates gets posted, they call out "Look! Here's another one!" just like we do for News updates from FFG. 
Well, X-Wing IS the heavy hitter, and as such, probably doesn't need the boost that daily main page updates bring. Imperial Assault is hot but it's getting it's first expansions. Armada is finally releasing and has break-out potential. I can see what they'd want to focus the news on these. It's not like people are going to ignore six waves of product for an established, popular game because they don't see a news story.
Like a drug dealer, I feel like they are trying to push the "new stuff" a little more. FFG definitely has the current spotlight on IA and SW:A.

I'm glad they're holding off on news. Gives us some time to play with wave 6 before it gets overshadowed by rampant speculation about newly announced ships that we wont get to play with for 6 months.
When they do drop news about wave 7 I hope they are a little more demure with their previews. Don't show us ALL of the cards too soon, just enough to get people excited at first.
I've been checking urls this morning with my Bothan spynet project, with no hits. Considering how many guesses I'm checking with each run, that points to there being no preview today, but that isn't a definitive 'no'.
