Just to be sure...

Are the following two sequences legal? Going to my first tournament tomorrow, and want to be sure I don't make a greater fool out of myself than I already will - or, worse, get an unfair advantage by making a mistake.

1) Ship (without stress) uses Advanced Sensors to perform an action before revealing its maneuver dial. Then, it follows up the action with another via Push the Limit (getting a stress in the process). It then reveals a green maneuver, losing the stress again after the move is executed. The only real reason why this might be wrong is the wording on Advanced Sensors, which states that is immediately before revealing a maneuver, so perhaps it can't then be followed by something else. That, and the fact that things that seem too good to be true, generally tend not to be true. It would even work when bumping, right?

2) As above, but instead of the set green maneuver, the ship uses Inertial Dampeners. As it counts as a white maneuver, it should be a legal move despite the stress. In this case, the ship will end up with two stress tokens (one from PtL, one from the Dampeners). Which doesn't sound too good to be true, but may still be useful!

1 works. Just remember to not set a red maneuver or you opponent can change the dial to his liking.

And 2 is correct as well.

There is a reason that tech is illegal...

Thanks people, good to know.

Aye, that was the first thing that went through my mind.. may forget it, but most certainly will try not to!
