What are the dimensions of the 4th Edition Talisman board in inches?
What are the dimensions of 4th Edition plus the Dungeon Expansion?

Sounds like your doing a rip off of Talisman?

Nope, I am considering purchasing the core game and the dungeon expansion and would like to be able to fit the game with the expansion on a standard card table and have enough room or 2 or 3 players.
So knowing the dimensions would be nice.
Or if any of you own the game and play it on a standard card table of 34"x34" and have a picture you could show me that would be helpful.
Hi Frog,
Ok let's see if this will help you!! I think that you are probably more interested in learning what would be the final size the game would take with all four region included.
If we consider that the other 3 regions will be the same size as the dungeon then it would be approx. 125cm long, 97 cm large.
But then again, nothing is said that FFG will stop with at only 5 expansion for Talisman and you might need more room on the table than I calculated
If you play other FFG board games you might run into the same "table space" problem too, did you consider buying a large table for your game night? or putting 2 tables side by side?
Anyway, as a player who played Talisman since 1st edition 25 years ago, don't let this keep you away from the wonderful enjoyable game Talisman is!
Cheers
Wow that is huge. I am not even sure 2 standard card-tables would work for that with players etc.
How about just the core game. What are the dimensions of the board?
Just to add to the proceedings in case anyone else wonders. The main board is made up of 6 x 11" squares, so is 22" x 33". The Dungeon board is an 8" wide "L" shape, so it would make a full set with 4 corner boards a total of 38" x 49".

Thank you kind sir! For both the email and this post. So I would assume this means I could play the game with 2 people allowing six inches on both sides of the main bord for player cards etc.

X2. Yeah, kinda suspicious that the dimensions with the 4 realm boards included wasn't good enough.

Read my previous post. The board with all the expansions would be far to big for a standard card table.
Why would I waste my time making a fake copy boardgame?

Anyways, thanks for the posts. I will be getting this game! (Hopefully my wife enjoys it!)

I didn't think it was suspicious in the least and to be honest I am quite amazed by Frog's restraint in answering these unfortunate comments.
When I bought my new table I had the dimensions with me so I knew I had enough room to play with expansions and have room for character cards and tokens etc (no drinks!)
People might not appreciate exactly how big the FFG edition if they have only seen the older editions, so it does need a bit of thought to whether you need to build an extension to fit the games in!
Well handled, Jon. I too have always been curious of the total dimensions, since I don't own any board expansions... yet. I'm going to need one heck of a bigger table if I don't want these aging joints locked up by a night on the floor. Our oval/oblong dining room table has enough at the ends for supplies and enough on the sides for character cards (2 people comfortably; 4 people cramped.)
So... now that intent is cleared up... has anyone looked at the average inch dimensions of a standard card table? Is two of them side by side enough or no? I have my doubts on the width more than the length.
