Does Armada work like Xwing, where you to have upgrades, you kind of have to have to every faction ?

Or are upgrades tied to faction only ?

Honestly so far it seems much more tied to faction because most upgrades are crew and ttitles

Now there are a few that Carry over cross faction (such as the turbo lasers) But it sdems generally that we won't need to buy the other faction for upgrade cards

Of course this is all speculation...

Yes, ship upgrades appear to be cross faction, so might be in only one ship that you have to buy, but as pointed out Armada has a high number of crew upgrades who are faction tied, so it's possibly not quite as bad as x-wing
