Could this be viable? I'm thinking; it jousts fairly well and it should be able to hold its own in rock filled furballin too.

Maybe Predator on Wedge instead of Push the Limit. A stressed Wedge is a predictable Wedge. Also, Wedge probably is going to be eating any Rebel Captive stress you come across, so Predator will protect him from being double stressed.

But, yes it could work. Be careful what you joust with it though. Jousting BBBBZ isn't a good idea. Wedge and Keyan will rarely (if ever) kill a Bwing before it can shoot, so you'll have 4 Bs and a Z shooting back on Wedge, Wedge is unlikely to survive that exchange. It may not be the best jouster.

This will not work as well as you would like it to against 2 ship builds. They will tag the X-Wing first and, if the kill it, the game is essentially over for you.

Now, lucky rolls for your opponent can be listed as a weakness for any list, but it is really not uncommon for 6 red dice to throw 6 hits (after modifications) and 4 green dice to respond with one evade.

Good points. Thanks. I Think ill stick to ptl and r2 for this wedge as boost focus/tl is strong. Dub stress is def a problem, yes. About the jousting; yeah. Id have to be careful vs a lot of builds.

Careful helps, but when a Firespray and an Aggressor are tearing toward you, your options dry up really fast. I still can't come up with a decent engagement strategy in that situation, so let me know how you do and what works out.

How do you define viable?

I tried to use Jan Ors on Keyan Farlander to disastrous results. I don't think I ever used her the entire game, because there were always other actions I needed to take (BR & TL) in order to get/modify shots.

Viable as in "is this a list that could be developed into something that could be played comptitively", i guess. It has a chance vs Whisper, it is agile and Can lay down some punishment. On the other hand, its a three ship rebel build. They usually turn out to be only really good on paper.

In regards to the agressor/firespray thing, me and my pt-buddy are testing a lot of different scum builds intensively these days, and that build is just so powerful. You can't hide from those guys. But the list is far from unbeatable.
