you're just here because you have no where else to troll.
Anyone want to take a shot at telling FTS Gecko what's wrong with his Sabra title card,
before I take a shot a fixing it.
You two dorks just don't understand that forums are for discussion,

No, they're annoyed by the fact that a lot of threads you post in end up being about you and your homebrew rather than about the thread topic.

- "Azzameen pilots" doesn't have a meaning in the game.
- This is a thematically appropriate effect for the Sabra title, but there's no precedent or mechanism in the game for removing a slot on your upgrade bar.
- I don't remember any particular astromech droids in X-wing: Alliance. Emkay was a maintenance droid.
- R5-P9 + Recon Specialist is a very powerful combination, as is R5-D8 + C-3PO (arguably allowing up to 2 cards to be discarded), and the R2 Astromech offers an enormous benefit in conjunction with Push the Limit.
It would make more sense for it to be a Crew card, if it's going to replace a crew slot.

If you recall, I handed you a golden opportunity to sell me on the idea of Scum YTs when I suggested you enlighten me on what it was specifically about them that would enhance the game in ways that other viable options could not.
Your reply was that this wasn't something you felt was appropriate for discussion.
If it's too much trouble for you to take the discussion at all seriously, then I won't take it seriously either.
I think Scum doesn't need a turret ship that acts like current turret ships. They promote less maneuverable flying and cut down on the choices of meta. I could see a ship that has a mechinal turret system, one that isn't manned by a crew member, so a ship that has 360 firing capable cannon that can only be fired when you spend a target lock. It's make it akin to reusable munitions and give you 360 cannons at a price. With scum not able to pass actions off easily, it'd be harder to build one of those ships with an action stack, but still possible.
This of course would be a YT-1300, as they have crew out the whazoo

Please bear in mind that particular card was created, oh, about eight months ago - before Scum and VIllany was even a thing - and was part of a set of homebrew cards for the Azzameen family (most flying stock ORS YTR-1300's). As such, I'm happy to admit it's incredibly outdated. If we're talking Scum, it should be Salvaged Astromech, for a start.
Since the card was created there are actually now precedents for changing slots on your upgrade bar however, although technically it should be "replacing" rather than "removing". Bomb Loadout fills a torp slot to give a bomb slot, while Chaardan Refit fills a missile slot to give a points decrease. So technically, the card might as well be a crew card, with the wording "your upgrade bar gains the (salvaged) astromech icon", but we're looking for a unique title.
To be honest, MK-09 might as well just be a crew card given C3-P0, R2-D2 and the K4 all have crew cards, but hey, I thought a YT-1300 with an astromech slot might open up some interesting combinations.
I'm still unconvinced that there's too many Astromech + Crew (+ Elite Talent) combinations which are ridiculous, at least no more so than Lando & C3PO anyway. On the Millennium Falcon maybe , but not on an ORS equivalent.
As an amusing aside, the K4 Security Droid bears an uncanny (if improved) resemblance to the Aeron Azzameen crew card I came up with. Now whenever I fly Emon and K4, I'll be imagining his little sister is actually flying co-pilot...

This was your "golden opportunity"
And what would that bring to the game that say, a turreted Jumpmaster 5000 (i.e Punishing One) piloted by the infamous Bounty Hunter Dengar, could not?
I had a reply to this and deleted it, as I didn't want to dignify the comparison;
I didn't see it as any genuine request for more YT-1300 ideas, but someone trying to derail the thread topic.
Incidentally, there are plenty of threads where people discuss ship ideas and upgrade ideas and no one complains about them as being " homebrew ," it's only that a few people dislike their lack of artistic ability being highlighted when I take the next step and make the actual printable card, of anyone's idea I think are good enough.
Not for discussion here as it has it's own thread, but just as an example:
Just a real quick version to see how hard it would be.
It probably occured to you but I was thinking if I was going to go ahead and paint one of mine,
then I would use a sewing needle to dot the checkered pattern on.
• I don't think anyone has to justify to you their interest in another large base ship.
• I don't think anyone has to justify to you their interest in another turret ship.
• I don't think anyone has to justify to you their interest in more YT-1300 variants/configurations,
especially considering the topic of the thread.

1) That part is easy to change to Scum Only
2) Chardaan Refit. B-Wing/E2. They use one to give another, close enough.
3) I haven't looked up anything on that droid, see the card below.
4) If you're suggesting it's overpowered I wouldn't bother as it should just say, as a scum ship, Salvaged Astromechs instead.
•"Genius" - If you are equipped with a bomb that can be dropped when you reveal your maneuver, you may drop the bomb after you execute your maneuver instead.
Unhinged Astromech - You may treat all 3-speed maneuvers as green maneuvers.
R4 Agromech - When attacking, after you spend a focus token, you may acquire a target lock on the defender.
Salvaged Astromech - When you are dealt a Damage card with the Ship trait, you may immediately discard that card (before resolving its effect). Then, discard this Upgrade card.
•R4-B11 - When attacking, if you have a target lock on the defender, you may spend the target lock to choose any or all defense dice. The defender must reroll the chosen dice.
...nothing gamebreaking so far.
Another card not by me. FTS Gecko 's MK-09.

A YT-1300 with a turret upgrade slot and only one upgrade available to it, one that requires the spending of a target lock, have I got what you are proposing correctly? Or perhaps a new type of turret slot?

So, just to be clear: your position appears to be that in a thread titled "Scum YT-1300's?" your Sabine Wren homebrew is on-topic, but a question about what Scum YT-1300s would bring to the game is not. Is that a reasonable description?

Nope.
You're very good a taking things out of context and twisting other people's words.
And that's all I'll say about that.
I can see FFG doing a conversion just like they did for Boba Fett.
Because Lando wasn't in part of the Rebellion for a long time, age 34.
In 3 ABY, Cloud City was taken over by the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War as part of a deal gone wrong. Calrissian had previously agreed to turn over a group of Rebels to the Empire, including Han Solo and Leia Organa, as part of bait for a trap for Jedi Luke Skywalker.
Not that hard to see Lando as non-Rebel when the LCG has him as such.
Edited by gabe69velasquezI can see FFG doing a conversion just like they did for Boba Fett.
You think they'll take characters who were central to the Rebellion, and make them S&V pilots?
Because they took a character that was never part of the Empire in the first place and put him where he actually belonged... Yeah I can see the logic in that.

Have a cannon upgrade on the yt-1300 that lets it shoot secondary weapons outside of arc but only by spending a target lock to do so. It wouldn't make it a yt-2400, but it'd give it strong possibilities.

I hope you don't mean that, because I am intensely curious to find out what context explains why the Sabine Wren card is relevant to the thread topic, while Funkleton's questions about Scum YT-1300s aren't.

Yeah, first thing I thought of was the Outrider title,
but you're suggesting something similar with different restrictions.
Spending a target lock instead of suspending the primary weapon.
That also gives the potential for another fire linked weapon pairing title.
Here's the Scum YT-1300 stat line: N O P E
Oh this tickels my belly!
... or FFG could go with a very bold reconfiguration, like this YT-2400:

Well Dash Rendar himself said that he "wasn't a joiner" and got one of those weird (eagle?) symbols slapped on his card, so why not? Han and Chewie would also be appropriate. That being said, it's almost certainly not going to happen (even though it's thematically appropriate) and as to the topic of this thread YTs really bring nothing to the table that doesn't just make them more like Rebels than they already are. At some point, yes, it would be nice, and in my Battle of Nar Shaddaa scenario I'm going to have a Scum Lando present alongside the Renthal's Fist, but we need a lot more faction-unique ships before that happens.

They can do a Most Wanted 2 and not have to spend millions on new molds/equipment.
Don't kid yourself that they won't consider saving those millions,
and if they can justify it with something thematic it's that much more likely.
Yeah, they could certainly do it, but I really don't think they will. Hell, in Armada they're releasing the Nebulon-B with only Rebel cards despite listing on the box fluff text that they're an Imperial manufactured ship. It's stupid, but there you are... and personally I'd rather see the Punishing One, Mist Hunter, and Hound's Tooth (maybe the Star Jewel/Dragon Pearl) plus any good workhorse little guys before we see Scum YTs
The only reason we got Boba/Kath in Scum is because Scum was unplanned in Wave 2 and the Slave I had to be released.

I doubt it's the only reason, you can't explain away all the other conversions like that:
Rebel HWK-290
Rebel Y-wing
Rebel Z-95 Headhunter
Rebel YT-1300*
Imperial Firespray-31
---------------------------
Scum HWK-290
Scum Y-wing
Scum Z-95 Headhunter
Scum YT-1300*
Scum Firespray-31
Where will they stop?
(*Thread topic only)
I think the conversions are one of the top things that make pirate ships cool.
I'm going to start using my CR90 as a scum Huge ship soon.
An illicit upgrade for each Fore & Aft.
