When using the Command Card Deadeye when does the card need to be used.

Some cards like Marksman need to be used before the attack is declared. for Deadeye can I roll the dice and then decide whether or not to use it?

Just looking at the card, rather than reading up on all of the timing rules, I'd say you can still use it after rolling dice and seeing you came up 1 or 2 accuracy short of hitting. I'm less certain about playing it in response to something like Deflect (or playing Deflect in response to Deadeye). It says "while attacking" rather than "when you declare an attack."

You can play Deadeye any time during an attack up until the "Check Accuracy" step. So after rerolls, modifiers, and spend surges steps.
