So it looks like it REALLY is Tyrell and Night's Watch! Most of us were spot on.

The new card parts distribution is nice and clear, but the frames are awfull.

eh, they'll just take getting used to.

Looks like we have an Iron Throne first player token and...some red and blue markers?

Is it too much to hope there'll be cardboard Multiplayer Title tokens to replace the Figurines?

I was worried the frames would be very busy, and very different from faction to faction (a la Conquest). From the Robert and the Stark/Lanni cards we see in mid-match on the left, it looks like it's just texturing and colour to differentiate between factions - and for me, that's a HUGE relief. The icons look a little big for my tastes (and the STR icon a little small?) but for the rest? I just think it'll take some getting used to.

But what's that rather larger than an icon object inbetween - some sort of tower / steeple? (Answered elsewhere - it's part of the card art - obvious when you look properly)

When can we expect the 2nd ed. to be released? I never gotten into the first edition, but I might get into this one because it's new and it'll be easier to collect.

Gencon this year (last week of July) is the announced release.

Netrunner debuted at Gen Con 2012, and was available at retail September 6.

Warhammer 40K Conquest debuted at Gen Con 2014, and was available at retail October 4th.

So, expect it to come out somewhere in there this year.

(Star Wars demoed at GC2011, but was pulled for redesign and came out December 2012, so that's not a good data point.)

It's worth noting SW came out in November 2012 at FFG's World Championship Weekend (and was then available at retail December 2012). A Core Set was given as a door prize to most, if not all, of the attendees.

(Just a shameless plug for how much fun World's weekend can be.)

We know the Core will launch at Gencon (last week of July/First week of August) - just like Conquest did last year. While we might hope the delay between Gencon and a global release will be shorter than for Conquest, that is probably your best base-line: when did your store pick up Conquest?

Oof, I hope 2E doesn't take as long post-Gencon as Conquest did. Fingers crossed they can speed up that turn around.

Early October. According to CoolStuffInc my order of Conquest cores shipped on October 1, and the official announcement of the game's release (which usually comes a couple days after it goes on sale) was on October 3:
