Lieutenents and revive

By Chav, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

So. We are are about to play Fury of the tempest from Labyrinth of ruin, and every time we play these quests we discuss, how do lieutentes revive?

1) When he makes a stand up action, do he have to forfeit the rest of his turn as players do? Can he, or can he not use 1 action for something?

1a) assuming he cant use his last action, can you frenzy, dash etc him for ekstra actions?

2) Can he be revived be a monster making a revive action, or can he only "return" by making a stand up action?

Thanks guys

A Lieutenant can not stand up himself in a similar way the heroes can nor can he be revived by monsters. A Lieutenant can only return if the quest guide explicitly states the when and the how. Usually such rules can be found in the reinforcement paragraph of the scene description.

Funkfried is correct- LTs are monsters, and just like other monsters they just plain get removed from the map when defeated.

There are a couple quests where the special rules tell you to treat LT's similar to heroes when defeated. I believe there was a response that when it says "as an action he may stand up," the intention is that it takes just 1 action, not the entire activation like it does for a hero. This is because the LT cannot be revived by other monsters, he must stand up on his own-if standing up took his whole activation, the heroes could keep him down much too easily.
