Dang. I got excited for a minute. It's probably May at the earliest. I do have mine pre-ordered with Xmas loot. I'm very eager to fly a lot of Tie Advanced. Still need to pick one up, though.

For those that hate on the Raider to get the fix, I say try Epic. It's actually a lot of fun to play some non-tournament games. I found it's cool b/c it's the same game...but not. It's great to break out of the norm and routine.

I understand your honest suggestion, but still...no. It is bull that the fix for the TIE/Ad is coming in an epic ship. Nothing changes that. I'm not even opposed to epic play, but this fix is needed to make the ship viable in tournament play. Not a bit better, not overpowered...straight viable. This fix should come in a "Imperial Elite" pack or something similar. I'm fine with the other pilots coming with the Raider and I love that alternate paint scheme, but those two cards (X1 title, and ATC) should be available to everyone who is interested in this game.

This is an opportunity for FFG to fix an error, not to go full SONY and pack in some bull that not everybody wants to get the stuff they do.

... and it ain't sell'n out in the first month either.

I am more concerned with getting my older ships up to threes, sixes, and nines all across the ship types, then I will get the glorious new Raider and Armada.

But if you prevent it from cloaking (by giving it no shot) it can't cloak until it gets a shot again, and it's then running on what's not exactly an Aggressor's dial.

Still potent but more easily countered.

Ok, here is the latest reply after asking for a photo. Not quite sure what to make of it. They are a well known game shop and I have ordered through them in the past. If the are saying they have it in stock they must only say so for a reason. I talked to a local game shop today and they said the Raider is due for 2nd quarter but they have no receipt of stock or anything incoming. 2nd quarter is next month...

I may just wait till next week and see what happens.

I get what you are saying, but FFG has already started down that road. You have to get a Falcon for each Engine Upgrade you want. The Tantive IV is the only place to get C-3PO. The Scyk is the only place to get Mangler Cannons. Etc..

No, you have to get a Falcon for every two Engine Upgrades you want. And given its popularity, I'd say it's only a matter of time before a second ships has it (just like Advanced Sensors is on Lamda and E-Wing, Push the Limit A-Wing and Imperial Aces, Stealth Device on Firespray and Scyk). Mangler comes with the Scyk and IG88. Needing the Tantive to get C3PO is rather excessive, but being a unique upgrade, they can hardly put several in a box, nor does it make sense to put him in several sets. More importantly, the two new Advanced upgrades will be in the Raider kit four(!) times. While some people will get a squadron of those guys now, I expect there to be plenty available for trade or sale. I know I won't be needing all of them, so my friends will be getting the remainder.
