Let's get some titles going. For the Rebels Home One is an easy pick but what would it's ability be? Squadron buff of somesort? The other ship of same design I can recall is the Independence , which was known for being especially outfitted for communications and electronic warfare. ANy other MC80a/b titles out there?

--since it's Vader's first command in ANH, which ISDs were at Hoth? We'll need both ISD-I and ISD-II titles as well. And didn't Vader have a ISD squadron, perhaps a generic title from that?

Re-watch the science again while looking at the background ships. There were at least 3 home one equivalent ships closing on the bridge of the Executor after two Mon Cals were already destroyed by the death star. (look to the left of the screen)

There were many more ships than appeared on screen.

The movie is pretty inconsistent but you can count around 9 mon cal cruisers, most of them in the background.

Since it is ship specific FFG would effectively be making a unique model only meant to be purchased once. Nevertheless, isn't the MC80 Home One variant the biggest MC? Would it be so bad if the Rebels got more large class ships, showing their diversity, say the Home One, Liberty, and Mon Remonda variants while the Imps only got the ISD?

That would leave smaller MCs for medium base ships and still leave the Imps the Vic and, eventually, the Interdictor, Lancer, and more. So while the Rebels would have more large ships, Armada is priced such that the Imperials would have more flexability since they'd have more medium base ships capable of being added to any given list -- whereas the Rebels could only bring one of their three big ships.

The Liberty is possible, but unlikely, as it was a different 'class' of MC80 (winged). My guess is FFG may hold off and try to eek a bit more money out of us and make a second release of the MC80 (as a winged ship).

What if home one had some sort of "concentrate all fire on the super star destroyer" buff? Allow friendlies to reroll dice if the target has already been shot at by Home One.

Wasn't Mon Remonda known for being the fleet carrier for elite squadrons? Rogue operated off of it. Maybe they'd have a squadron ability. Home One ... I have no idea. It's the fleet flagship. Buff for everybody?

The Defiance and Independence are likely, with the Independence as a no brainer given it's existence (and thus art) in the LCG.

Ackbar: if you shout "it's a trap", cancel one enemy die.

If you shout "concentrate all fire on that super star destroyer" all ships role one extra die against that target.

But seriously, FFG should release a soundboard of Ackbar to use while playing.

Mon Remonda just happened to carry Rogue/Wraith while on it's mission to destroy Zsinj it wasn't specifically designed to be a fleet carrier. I think a squadron ability would make sense though.

Give it the ability to take hits from red dice from nearby friendly ships. And I suppose it would be cross faction which is why I don't think we will see it, but a man can dream.
