If they errata'd the flavor text to actually mean something, then that would disclude Vader from any potential future Advanced titles, which would be silly.

More importantly, though, none of this matters for anything but tournaments. If you're a tournament player and you are set against getting an Imperial Epic ship (or buying the Advanced bits from someone who doesn't want them all) then surely you know SOMEONE who would lend you the card for the day.

If you're not playing tournaments, it doesn't matter and you can just do what you like. You don't need FFG's permission for anything that happens in your living room...

What's interesting is how subtly the advanced targeting computer helps the other pilots just a little more than it helps Vader. Vader is more likely to want to burn his target lock each turn and the ATC won't let him. Granted he can get that first target lock a little easier but he cannot focus and target lock each turn so his offense is boosted just a little bit less than the other pilots.

Would love to see a similar boon to the E-wing that somehow helps the other pilots more than Corran. Not sure how to make that one work though... Maybe a once per round attack boost.

Offensively, perhaps. But being free to take an Evade instead of Target Lock is always nice. Besides, he has the option of spending it for better results and still being free to TL and Focus next turn.
