Wedges vs. Cucumbers

By GrandAdmiralCrunch, in Star Wars: Armada

Imperials get the wedge shaped Victories, Gladiators, Imperials, and Raiders.

Rebels get Cucumber shaped MC-80, MC-30, And Assault Frigate Mk II. An argument could be made for the Nubulon B being a bit cucumberish. The CR-90 is the only ship to buck the trend so far.

How long will this trend last?

P.S. This isn't meant to be all that serious; I just observed this and thought it was humourous.

Actually, Id say the Nebula looks more like a yellow squash and the CR-90 like a carrot. The Assualt Frigate Mk II looks like a baking potatoe to me...

Now you're making me hungry.

Also, I now want to play a game of Armada with vegetables. Every ship you lose must be mashed.

That would be great. Change the name of the game to Salad Wars: Revenge of the Vegetables.

No, every ship you lose you must eat. Not now, honey! I'm eating my daily amount of vegetables!

Doesn't matter; the Rebels have the only Wedge that matters...

If you look at all of the rebel ships from, say, Star Wars Rebellion, they all seem to look like fish/whales to me.

Bulwark Cruiser

Dauntless Cruiser

MC80

Assault Frigate (the real one)

etc.

Hell, half of them have fins.

ZING! [Drops mic]

There is a reason they look like fish, since they were designed and created by an amphibious race. If I remember my EU rightly they would also travel underwater.

Only the Mon Cal ships were created by an amphibious race. The other ships listed by Jimmy have nothing to do with Mon Calamari design.

Right you are sir, for some reason I saw a few names and didn't fully notice the rest of the ships named <_<

Ok, first person to post a picture of a Victory class painted like a wedge of cheese gets 10 imaginary internet points!

I dunno, the MC series reminded me of blimps and airships. Kind of why I want to make some kind of list called "Ackbar's balloons", made up of nothing but Assault Frigates and MC series ships.

The title of this thread misled me. I wanted to know who Cucumbers was and what Wedge Antilles was going to do about him.

C. U. Cumber is a new Imperail ace pilot. His experimental TIE-Scout does not have the solar panels that others do, His long, oblong shaped ship strikes fear in rebel pilots everywhere he appears.

He is known for sowing the seeds of the rebellion's destruction...

:P

This looks like the future state flag of Wisonsin in a post-apocalyptic world where oil has run out and cheese is the new currency, making WI capital of the former USA.

Having lived in Wisconsin for a bit, I find this scenario strangely appealing...
