None of the rebel ships are pretty- bulwark, Nebulon-B, Quasar-Fire... the only lineage that can claim any artistry are the MC series for being fancy blimps.

I'm not phased at all by the Rebels getting butt-ugly unusual spaceships. I'm fine with it as long as the Empire gets the clean-cut wedges of doom.

And here i am, who actually enjoy more rebel big ships than the imperial.

See that is the problem with leaks from shows like these. We get a little info and everyone goes wild and FFG won't answer the questions becuase it is not publicly official yet. So we will have to wait for the Official announcement which might be weeks to clear up the non-believers. ( or at least those holding on to all hope there will be SSD's just like X-Wing players holding on to hope the will be ISD's in X-Wing .)

The game is not even on the self which is frustrating enough without more fuel being thrown on the fire.

You do realize these two things are not the same, right? X-Wing is a dogfight game using starfighters that are theoretically scale models. Armada is a fleet game using captial ships that from the very first announcement have been clearly stated as not being to scale. An SSD in Armada makes more sense both thematically and mechanically than a Star Destroyer in X-Wing could.

We can probably stop the debate about if ISD or MC80's are Large Base because we all know it will be large based, everyone who says otherwise is just trying to throw oil on the fire.

The important thing to take away from this is that ISDs are freaking massive! They look to be about 2x the size (a little less than) of the Vic. They are awesome! Can't wait to get them in my hands!!!!!

No, we don't. Speculation, even if it is based on logic, is still not the same as knowledge. And I'd appreciate you not accusing other people of dishonesty just because they have a different opinion than you.

Now let's enjoy the new toys coming out soon and if and when the epic ships come out we can then discuss it with more idea of how the game works and what the models look like on the table.

CR90 is 39-44 points. If we estimate Raider higher at 50, you can still get two in with 47 points for upgrades initiative

Sweet! I was kind of gut guessing you could but laid out like that it doesn't sound too bad. There's a thin enough margin of error in that guess that it begs the question, could there be a legitimate fleet that is Vic+gladiator+raiderx3... Hmm

Was Booster ever able to finish painting it? I recall reading that he was having trouble locating enough red paint for the job, but never heard if he was able to finish it or not. A partially painted red ISD might be interesting too.

So can see Darth Vader in the Imperial Star Destroyer card set and Ackbar in the Mon Calamari cruiser.

If I am using Ackbar and my opponent DOESN'T pick the ambush objective. . well. . . many Bothans will die . .

Wonder what kind of ability he will bring to the table? Must be trap themed like a super re-enforce or maybe he can use a Navigate command in the shooting phase?
