Who is Kayn Somos?

By patox, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

And all (likely) uniques, meaning no need to buy multiple copies of the packs.

I'm not so sure about that. Each pack shows a face-down deployment card underneath the face-up ones. I'm going to guess that those are non-unique cards that can be used with the figure. For example, Kayn may come with a generic "Stormtrooper Officer" and R2-D2 may come with a generic "Astromech Droid." I'm not sure about Fett, though. That seems odd. I suppose it could just be a generic "Mandalorian Mercenary."

But if you look at the wave-1 images, IG-88, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and the Royal Guard Elite Champion do not have face-down deployment cards. Weiss does, and we know he comes with a generic AT-ST card.

All goo points, but I'll counter that by saying that the image for the Royal Guard Champion

Shows 2 agenda sets, and 3 skirmish missions which we now know to be inaccurate.

Either way, I'll certainly be preordering all of them from my FLGS as soon as I can!

A friend at the show just sent me a picture of the figures, C3PO and R2-D2 are separate figures.

I'm very happy the droids are coming out as a pair as they should. Even George Lucas has said in the early inception of the Star Wars saga, that we are seeing a story unfold from their perspective. So now, if you were to follow that logic the tales of Imperial Assault get to be cannon in their own way.

I always thought Boba Fett would be the next logical step in the expansions, there are very few villains from the time period that can equal Darth Vader in recognition and fan draw.

That Elite Stormtrooper definitely seems like he is from The 501st , again I like how Fantasy Flight is taking from Star Wars Lore that has already been created.
