There's a symbol above the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon that appears on some scratch and kit models. I don't know if it's on the actual movie model.
Does anyone know what this is?:

Nope. All I found is that it's also on the Kenner Millenium Falcon vehicle/playset. The sticker sheet only sais: "17. Canopy".
I checked wookiepedia to see if it might have something to do with the Corellian Engineering Corp, but that's not their logo either.
Looks like someone's moonlighting away from the Venture compound....
Taken straight from the traveling exhibit, Star Wars: The Magic of Myth:
"This end up."
"I got the runs at Kessel" - Kessel Board of Tourism
"Route 1"
According to the blueprints from the Rebel Edition set, that's the ship's registry.

It looks like two different stickers put together. The black and white one is on the bottom and says "Worlds ____ 1." The top sticker is placed upside down relative to the bottom one. It looks like it's from a model airplane kit and reads "Danger Ejection Seat & Canopy." The Danger is covering up what ever is between Worlds and 1.

its Starwars way of emulating the little "rescue" triangles seen on military jets....
Hi all,
I just came across this thread, randomly, and have long noted that graphic on the top of the cockpit, part of which is very familiar to me from my childhood. The black part is the Allied Van Lines logo that was used on their trucks and advertising in the 70's. Perhaps it was a decal from a model kit of the era. The red part, as noted previously, is an ejection warning label from some kind of fighter jet model, placed on top of the upside down Allied logo. (see below)
This thread may be dead, but maybe someone will notice this new tidbit of trivia.
Allied Van Lines... Making the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs.
