Maps

By KennyBu, in Game Masters

I know that miniatures & maps are not required for EOE but we like having them in our game.

I wanted to get your opinion how you GMs handle physical maps:

- We tend to print out maps found online or included in custom adventures.

- Have you found any good way to implement a "fog of war" with physical maps?

- Any other suggestions or ideas to how to use maps with miniatures?

Thanks!

I used to use black construction paper of various sizes to put over sections of Dwarven Forge dungeon sets that I had built that I didn't want players to see. Perhaps you could cover the map that way with a slow reveal as necessary.

I've always used blank pieces of paper to hide "unexplored" areas of the map.
