I have one set of dice... I'm turning in my Geek & Gamer Girl card. :(

I wouldn't worry about it. Star Wars only has one style to purchase. Most other games systems use the same dice, but have a plethora of different shapes, colors, and gimmicks. If you only play FFG Star Wars, then it would be a waste to over-purchase dice. Half of my dice were bought in moments of weakness by my wife when she saw something new. The other half were purchased by myself in moments of weakness when I saw something new. :D

It isn't even Star Wars dice! I use the iPad app for those...

Ten years ago I would have given you guff about that, but sadly now it is far more popular

I get plenty of guff (even if that's he first time I've heard that word!) for it already.

How do you get a quiet gamer to talk?

Ask them about their dice...

And how they carry around said dice. I swear, at cons I get more people talking about their dice bags than about the dice!

I use a sub-divided clear plastic box for all my dice. I bought it at an art store and it holds a heck of a lot of dice. :P

I used a Crown Royal bag, a real one not the ones they sell the booze in today if they even still do that.

That **** d100 was a *****, and the dog loved chasing it when it rolled off the table, needless to say I figured out how to use the d10s really fast.

I use a sub-divided plastic box, but for holding my Star Wars minis. :)

I don't have the huge dice collection that most gamers seem to have; just 3 sets of D&D dice and 3 sets of Star Wars dice.

I collect dice compulsively. I'm like a bird. I need all the shinies to build my nest.

Haley if you don't mind, i'm not trying to be insensitive, just curious, i had assumed you used a digital device that spoke the results of your rolls. How do you know what you roll, are they braille dice? Does your dad tell you what you rolled? Can you feel the numbers carved into the dice? Also many gamers (myself included) by dice with a visual appearance that apeals to them, how did you choose your one set of dice. Oh and it is possible to get custom dice made (the larger the order the cheaper it is) so I imagine getting a few sets of braille dice made for Haley would be expensive but i'd be willing to contribute some money as a community effort to get some made (or maybe we could Google to see if someone already makes them, I haven't checked)

I've got one of those big duel sided hardware/jewelers boxes full, plus my travel bag, plus my gallon ziploc'o'loaners(the dice of shame), plus my crown royal bag with Star Wars dice...

It's my first time here, My name is Jon, and I'm a dice addict.

I have a jelly belly jar (the costco sized one) full of dice. They're pretty, multicolored, and almost never used except as a paperweight. (I got almost all of them via "cup of random dice for $5" promotions) The dice I actually roll are in the messanger bag I take around with me. I also have a lot of the old stickered Star Wars dice, but I/we need them for conventions.
