WAVE XII/XIII UPDATE NOW OUT - 18 JAN 2018

Tired of searching for that pesky reference card when trying to use an upgrade when you can't quite remember it's details? Well here's the only Reference Cards you need. The BIG Reference Card is a collection of directly quoted text from the many reference cards that come with various upgrades. It is in A4 format but users have informed me that printing it to US Letter format is perfectly fine also.

Just print page it double sided, and you've got everything at your finger tips.

Please note, I have had offers of payment, but I cannot accept these because that would create a breach of FFG copyright. So this is available absolutely FREE!

Included by popular request are the manoeuvre charts for all the small and large ships in the game on pages 3, 4 and 5.

This is available as a pdf file that includes all SIX pages. Trust me, it prints better from the pdf file than the graphic image!

Just message me if you want a copy and I'll happily email it to you, and don't forget to include your email address and (your proper name would be nice too - just for my email records, no one else).

I'll also add your email address to an update list so that whenever I do an update

( for any new FAQ releases or new ships ) you'll get a new pdf version sent to you.

This item is absolutely FREE OF CHARGE ( mainly because it's covered by FFG copyright ).

Freaking awesome! I was JUST looking for something like this!

True, but the Ghost is one of the most popular models in the game. I actually lost a small tournament, because I was flying the ghost, and the judge ruled that even though I un-docked on my own without the ghost being destroyed, that I couldn't shoot with my esra shuttle only take an action. I tried to show him the rules, but he was adamant about it, because he had the basic docking rules, not the ghost rules. You might want to in this case add the ghost rules just to be clear. I had a range one shot with auto turret on a 1 health IG88, but couldn't take the shot and he killed my ghost, then time expired. I ended up coming in second place because of it.

That's really unfortunate, but the judge should have been better prepared. That being said, did you have your Ghost rules insert to show him?

Yes, but the judge had his own card, much like yours. An he said, "I'm the judge and my ruling is final", Plus time was nearly up and at that point I didn't even know you could ask for an extension. So that was that, no arguing

Well, that's clearly wrong. The basic rules for deploying only forbid you making an attack if the deployment was due to the carrier ship being destroyed. Also, there's nothing in the text on my BRC that would suggest otherwise.

Unfortunately, the one thing he did get right was that his ruling was final, even if it was completely wrong. FFG have given judges this argument-ending ability, and sometimes it gets abused by ill-prepared judges. :(

Yeah! this guy was more rules as written type of judge. Since it said you only got and action and not an attack, he was sure you didn't get to :(

Sounds more like a "rules as he assumed them to be" kind of guy, because rules as written would prove him to be wrong.

He has apologized since then and he an I a pretty good friends now. But for weeks after I brought it up anytime he made a ruling just to be annoying :) Now it's a fun thing that everyone says all the time.
