Watching now! That first match is like the match of the century! Can't wait to see how it turns out!
What! That's an outrage! Those TIE interceptors should have had that in the bag ![]()
How much did you manage to block him and prevent actions? That would make a huge difference now that I think about it.
Wow. I have so many thoughts, but I just don't know how to go about writing them without sounding like a complete jerk. First, amazing flying, man! If I remember correctly, you've always been a TIE swarm fan, right? All your experience with them definitely shows. I was perplexed, however, with how unfamiliar you seemed to be with some of the other ships. Have you been keeping up with the new releases, or just enjoying your classic Imperial domination? Not trying to be rude; just curious.
The finals. Maybe I'm wrong but that looked like quite the upset! (If I knew how to hide text as a spoiler I'd do it, but oh well). People always say that swarms are destroyed by phantoms, and that they have a hard time against Soontir Fel unless you can block him. Looks to me like you didn't block him, but you still annihilated him. Same goes for "Echo." What gives? Was it just really favorable dice? How proficient was your opponent? Obviously he made it to the final round so he did well at the tournament. I've heard some grumblings about how TIE phantoms may be a crutch, so that mediocre players can figure out the phantom and do well, but they would bomb with just about any other list, and I'm wondering if maybe there is some truth there. Oh, and congratulations for finishing that final match with a loss of just one TIE. Simply astounding!
You are the first person I've ever heard who called the phantom "easy mode" for new players who don't know how to play... lol, that's just funny. For the record any time you start a post with "not to be rude" it's a pretty good sign you are going to be rude.

I think he knew that text may not translate the tone he intended.
