I was drawn into X-wing a few months ago in an era that saw only the apocryphal ships of waves IV and V available on store shelves. Now, there is a new wave and reprints of old waves are finding their way to various retailers. As soon as the B-wing and TIE Bomber get to shore from their extended cruise, it would seem that we will enter a glorious era where one can simply buy the ship they want, rather than selecting from a few paltry options. So the question becomes, " How long will this last?" Should I be scooping up all the ships I could conceivably desire even as my wallet cries out for mercy? How quickly things have sold out in the past?

Everything gets reprinted, nothing sells out. However, there are gaps in availability while things gets reprinted. Wallets can withstand a little pain. Goodness knows that mine has

I would suggest buy 1 of whatever you dont have within your budget (priority with first 3 waves), with X-wing crowd always growing I suspect supply will eventually run out and while FFG does reprint it usually comes long after the need arises. Atleast thats how it has been it since I got into X-wing (right after wave 3 dropped). FFG may/may not have changed their product/logistics but when it comes to our plastic addiction why take a chance?

Thanks, It is good to hear that I could probably wait a couple months and still get what I want. The question remains of whether I have the will power to actually wait, but that is not a question I will trouble this forum with.

The union didn't strike; management closed the ports down.

Down in my corner of the world, supply tends to be a little slim sometimes, so I tend to buy what I can when it's available. It might not be back in stock for another 6 months.

Because the union workers went into a "slowdown". Kept my car on the friggin boat for two weeks...

Wave IV has been widely available for about nine months now with no gaps. You probably don't need to rush to pick up the newly reprinted stuff.

Just remember, the internet is never out of stock.

Round my way we have never had it so good - the shelves and window displays of my LGS are bulging with X-wing product, and despite new players joining up in droves as a result of the new found stock abundance, they show no sign of running short on anything for a while.

The only things they don't have are Falcons, Firesprays and HWKs - and at least 2 out of those 3 will be back within a week or two ..... and no-one cares that much about the HWK

Union slow down you get your car a couple of weeks late their point was made. Management Lockout your car has no foreseeable release date while management takes their ball (keys) and goes home to pout.
