Preorder Advertising - I nteresting Graphics

By Thalomen, in Star Wars: Armada

I just got a flyer from Miniatures Market. For the second time (the other is Cool Stuff Inc) I've seen advertsiing prominately displaying Imerial Star Destroyers. Not Victorys or Gladiators but Imperials.

I don't know that anything can be drawn from it, but it just seems interesting. Why not use core game or expansion models in the ads? Or is it a tease for the next wave? Or is this just idle thoughts as I jonse for the game to FINALLY release?

Only the Shadow knows....

All I know is I got the notification on my phone from MM's email and the only words that were visible from the heading were "Star Wars Armada."

The "Oh. My. God." reaction didn't last very long, lol

Mine showed the ISDs along side the core set. I think it's just hype for the pre-order ("Buy more Star Destroyers!").

Because the ISD is the famous ship. Most people are like wtf is that thing sticking out the front of the bridge and why does it have those bulges on the sides.

hahaha so true

What? About half the people I have spoken to don't see the differences -- until they are pointed out to them ;-)
