Heading to my first tourney on Saturday, and I want to make sure I have my list ready for the TO -- what's the proper and/or preferred method? Do TOs prefer FFG's Squad List Sheet, or is a simple print from Word of the pertinent data (pilot, upgrades, points) the norm? I know voidstate's squad builder can generate an id that makes a list easy to plug into cryodex then list juggler -- do you all just print your list from voidstate's site (or one of the other sites)?

And on voidstate's builder, is the 6-digit number shown in the "view" & "tweak" addresses the ID that gets plugged into cryodex?

Oh, and you just take 1 additional copy of your list for your opponents to review, yes?

My suggestion would be to contact the TO/venue. I know when I run events it is really nice to have the official one only and typed makes it even more awesome. You can type into it when you open if from the webpage and print it from there. If someone brings it in a different format I will have extra blanks of the FFG form for them to fill out and with your squad ready it won't take but just a few minutes. No one ever complains and understand it's just part of the process.

I agree with Shuanfu. Typed is always prefered. that being said I also accept printoffs from two of the online tools. mainly Voidstate's (http://xwing-builder.co.uk/) and yet another squadron builder (http://geordanr.github.io/xwing)
